In a nutshell, I love art, music, movies, musicals, dogs, doodling, traveling, sewing, earrings, bags, bargains, cheap stuff, daydreaming, happy endings, the smell of a newly lit matchstick, Harry Potter and Nancy Drew books and PC games.

Internet History
My first encounter with the internet was in the sixth grade when mIRC was still huge and webrings were the coolest thing. I learned HTML when I made my first website on gURLpages. I copy-pasted the frames code and added a bunch of cheesy javascripts but it was nonetheless an effort in my part to “beautify” my website.

That was in 1999. I started blogging in 2000, around the time when Blogger became a hit. I became sick of having to upload my files through a web-based uploader and seeing pop-up ads in gURLpages so I searched for a free server that offered FTP uploading and moved. From then on, I hopped from one host to another, usually on some fellow teenager’s webspace so I could avoid the ads.

I don’t blog that much. I don’t know, I’m not as into it like I was a few years ago. Oh well. Expect sporadic movie/show reviews and entries on sewing blunders. As for the random ramblings, I’ll leave that to twitter.
