IT’S ALIVE!!!
DECCA BROADWAY TO RELEASE YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN CAST ALBUM
**CD IN STORES DECEMBER 26, 2007**
(December 19, 2007- New York, NY)– Mel Brooks electrifies his latest creation, a musical rendition of his 1974 film classic YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (That’s FRON-kehn-steen) for the Broadway stage. The production boasts an all-star cast, starring Roger Bart (”Desperate Housewives”/”The Producers”), Megan Mullally (”Will and Grace”), Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster (”Drowsy Chaperone”), Tony Award® winner Shuler Hensley (”Oklahoma”), Tony Award® winner and SCTV’s Andrea Martin, Fred Applegate (”The Producers”) and Christopher Fitzgerald (”Wicked”).
IT’S ALIVE! From the creators of the record-breaking Broadway sensation The Producers comes this monster new musical comedy, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, based on the Oscar-nominated smash-hit 1974 film.
A wickedly inspired re-imagining of the Frankenstein legend based on the classic comedy masterpiece, YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN follows bright young Dr. Frankenstein as he attempts to complete his grandfather’s masterwork and bring a corpse to life. Together with his oddly shaped and endearing helper Igor (Eye-gor), his curvaceous lab assistant Inga, and in spite of his incredibly self-involved madcap fiancée Elizabeth, Frankenstein succeeds in creating a monster - but not without scary and quite often hilarious complications.
With such memorable tunes as “The Transylvania Mania,” “He Vas My Boyfriend” and “Puttin’ On The Ritz,” The New MEL BROOKS Musical YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is scientifically-proven, monstrously good entertainment…and the only place you’ll witness a singing and dancing laboratory experiment in the largest tuxedo ever made.
Decca Broadway presents YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN, in stores on December 26.
Decca Broadway is home to several cast recordings including SPRING AWAKENING (Grammy Award-Nominated), SPAMALOT (Grammy Award-Winner), WICKED (Grammy Award-Winner), MAMMA MIA!, SEUSSICAL and THE WILD PARTY.

Hi! Just wondering if you could help me. I’ll be going to the maroon 5 concert and will be getting upper box a. Can you see the performers well or is it too far from the stage? thanks!
>> Decent seats. The view is ok. Depends on which part of upper box a you’re seated. Oh, and if it were a basketball game, Upper Box A is perfect.
