My groupmates chose my recycled denim jeans bag as the product for our marketing plan. I can tell they were excited about having customized bags (well, except the two guys in our group) and I was pretty excited too. I haven’t sewn anything in weeks. That is, until their old jeans started pouring in.
For the past few days, with the exception of Saturday of course, I’ve done nothing but cut and sew ridiculously thick denim jeans and poke thread through needles. I need to make two presentable denim bags, one for girls and one for guys for our presentation and so far I’m only partially done with the GUY bag. I haven’t looked for good fabrics for lining yet and blah blah blah.
Here are two of the three bags I’ve worked on so far and more photos on Flickr:
We haven’t decided on our company name and the brand name of the bags, but I’ve thought up of a slogan that hopefully they’ll agree to use. It’s inspired by one of the songs from Rocky Horrror Picture Show. I’ll get to that later! :] More bag updates soon.
