The Backstreet Boys like it’s the 1990s!

From Top: Nick, Kevin, Howie, AJ and Brian
It’s back to the 90s!
Â
Most people would react, Eww the Backstreet Boys? You’re so baduy!. But I most certainly do not care. It was fun to relive all the memories of gradeschool crushes on boybands. Haahaha.
Â
Anyway, I definitely need a new camera. Even if the one I use right now has 5 megapixels, the quality is so blah! Or maybe… Upper Box A is just too far away to get a good picture
Waaah, anyway it was a very fun night. Most of the people who watched the concert were more or less my age and up. I heard one girl say that she waited almost 10 years for them to come back. Some were to young to go to Limits Disco, where they had their promo tour in 1996. I guess everyone (including me) wanted to relive the days of screaming and singing their hearts out for a boyband.
Watermarks because I’m that paranoid
—- Very bad quality pictures. Just a few snapshots out of the 100+ pictures I took. Hahahahahaha. If only the batteries and the memory card hadn’t run out.
Â

Ticket. We were seated in Upper Box A, reserved seating
Â

Two hours before the show started. It was supposed to start at 8, but it didn’t. It started around 9. Boo. People were getting restless. Some were even screaming with delight whenever they see roadies fixing the equipment on stage.
Â

Stupid advertisment on a blimp roaming around Araneta Coliseum.
Â

OMGGGGG. Haha. They’re dancing! The first song they performed was (I think) The Call.
Â

This was how the stage looked. Pretty plain.
Â

It’s Kevin Richardson and Brian Litrell!!!! Too cute.
Â

AJ McLean and Howie Dorough! (I still remember their names. How nice!)
Â

Eww. Nick Carter. Horrible shot.
Â

The “Boys”
Â

According to Nick Carter, his guitar is his girlfriend. Whatever. He was trying to show off his guitarskillzzz but nah, nothing interesting. Still pa-cute, as usual. Although he was cute ten years ago. Slightly gay-ish though.
Â

My sister’s and I were so jealous at the people who got front row seats. It’s hard to tell in the picture, but that’s Nick Carter mingling with the audience, the dark figure at the bottom of the picture. Brian’s the one in pink.
Â

Another shot of the stage. The band is behind them.
Â

They performed All I Have to Give (best song EVER!… from the Backstreet Boys, of course) with their cute hats and chairs etc, just like in the video.
Â

Cellphones are the new lighters. Kevvv asked the audience to turn on their cellphones so the dark coliseum would look like all starry and cute. If I remember correctly, Kevin was playing Incomplete on the piano at that time. Whee.
Â

Byebye Backstreet Boys
And they didn’t even sing Get Down!! That’s like, the corniest song EVER but it’s the most fun to laugh at, anyway.
Â
Comments on the Backstreet Boys concert:
-
They didn’t sing Get Down and I’ll Go Anywhere For You!!!! That was the suckiest thing about the concert. But they did sing most of their singles. Yaay for All I Have to Give and Quit Playing Games!
-
Nick Carter is so fat.
-
Brian and Kevin aged gorgeously!
-
The can still dance!
-
They didn’t wear any fancy schmancy costumes. Except for the fedora hats, the same ones they wore in their videos.
-
Nick Carter really looked slobby. I mean, even if we were nowhere near the patron seats, you can see a mile away that he wore the saggiest pair of jeans in the planet.
-
I feel so sorry for the people sitting in the General Admissions area.
-
I envy those people sitting in the front rows!!! They got to take good pictures (and even touch!) AJ, Howie, Kevin, Nick (eew) and Briannn!!
-
…….
Very fun, anyway.
